apologetics: defense; reasoned arguments or writings in justification of something; branch of Christian theology that is concerned with making a defense, or case, for the truth claims of the Christian faith.
But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense [apologia] to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear (1 Peter 3:15)
The aim of Kurios Apologetics Ministry is twofold:
“sanctify the Lord God in your hearts” To help Christians develop a deep and well-rounded relationship with God. One way to do this is by studying and learning the reasons why Christianity is true. Simply put, a Christian should not only know what they believe, but why they believe. By doing so, we believe that a Christian’s relationship with God will be stronger, and able to withstand the toughest of trials and objections.
“always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you” Not only do we desire that the Christian’s relationship with God grow stronger by learning the “why’s” behind their faith, we also believe that every Christian should share these reasons with skeptics and doubters. We want to equip Christians to do this by studying the toughest objections against and the best evidence for Christianity.
